Our History & Vision

Founded in 1993 by Doug Collins, Collins Automotive is a locally owned and operated family business specializing in repairs to European vehicles. We are a full service automotive repair shop and are committed to providing high quality workmanship using leading edge technology. Our automotive professionals continue to expand their technical knowledge through ongoing training to ensure they remain current.

One of the unique customer-focused services we offer at Collins is a seasonal tire service – we will store your seasonal tires and remind you when it is time to mount them and remove them. It’s all about making it easy for our customers!

Collins Automotive is more than just a local business. We pride ourselves on being active members of our community and give back by supporting local organizations through charitable donations and by volunteering on local boards and committees.

Providing a personal touch and using an honest approach to customer service is central to our business. We take the time to make sure our customers understand what repairs need to be done before we do the work. We warranty our work for 36 months and/or 36,000 kilometers, offer quality service replacement cars and pre-book our customers’ next appointment to make sure that we keep their vehicle operating at peak performance.

And… we send an email reminder a week in advance just to make sure the appointment time is still convenient for them. In return, we have incredibly loyal customers and one of the highest customer retention rates in our industry. It’s all part of our customer-focus strategy.
